King Fishing 9/26/25

The fishing has been on fire the last week. Most days in early with 2 and 3 person limits. It’s just getting good in some of the southern rivers and harbors so I would expect it to keep rocking thru mid October this year.

King Report 9/13/25

Trying to keep up a little better on the reports. The fishing is still great. Weather is warming up, but not for long. We could use a north blow for a few days to get another fresh batch in the hopper. Looks like that’s coming next week.

September King Season

King season started off just like it did last year…red hot. The numbers of returning kings are well above average with the cooler then normal weather. It’s been some easy fishing so far. Here are a few pics from some recent trips.

Steelhead fishing 4/19

The fishing still remains red hot and no sign of slowing. The weather has been perfect for prolonging the peak of the season so far. Here are some pics from some of the fish we got the last few outings.

Steelhead fishing 4/8/25

To say this is probably the best spring I’ve seen for the amount of fish around would be an understatement. It’s impressive how many fish are around in mid April…and they are still coming. Here’s Larry and Kurt with about half of what they brought to the boat.

Steelhead update 3/25/25

To say fishing has been good the last week is an understatement. Probably the best spring I’ve seen in years. We could use a rain to bump levels up to clear some of the foot traffic, but the fish don’t mind the low water at all. Here’s Chris with a fraction of the fish we brought to the boat today.

Steelhead fishing 3/11/25

Finally some nice weather has hit and the shelf ice for 2025 is gone. The fishing is outstanding right now with new fish and some holdovers. I’ve been bouncing around on a few different rivers and they are all consistently good. Here’s a few pics from a drift down a smaller west Michigan river today.

Steelhead 2/27/25

A little spike in water temp is all it took to get the fish going again. The water is in prime condition and the fishing is following suit. Todd put right around 30 in the boat on his trip. I still have openings. Come holler.

Steelhead 2/23/25

Took a couple days of over 32 degree weather but most of the ice is off the rivers now and it’s game on for steelhead. A good mix of smaller and adult size fish running around and they are on the feed. Here is Dylan and crew with a handful of their bigger fish from today

Winter Steelhead

After a few weeks of bitter cold, we got a break in the weather and the rivers have opened up from the ice cover. The fishing remains really good with new fish and some holdovers in the systems. I will start running trips after next week so get with me to get out.
