Fishing Reports

The late summer salmon fishing in the harbors and rivers has started off fast and furious. It should be a great run this year. Here are a few from recent trips.

It’s getting warm and the steelhead are winding down. Starting to switch gears to summer river fishing and chasing the kings on the big pond. It’s been a great season and I’m thankful to have been able to fish with so many great people. Here are some pics from the past few trips. Things are about peaked on most of the west Michigan Rivers. I have a few days open yet to chase fish in the river before I switch over to the big lake chasing kings. It’s been a great year so far and I am very fortunate to be able to fish with so many great people!!! Here is a sample of some recent catches.

Wow. What a change in the water levels can do with the fishing. Everything is in full swing now. We spent a day on a northern river and it paid off. The weather and water were just right and it paid off for Chris. Get with me soon before it starts to wind down!! Here are some great fish from the outing.

The bump in the water levels this week has shoved things into top gear. The fishing has been outstanding!! Also been limit catches of walleyes in a couple west Michigan streams the past few days. Here are a few of the many fish that we have got to pet.

We have had some unseasonably warm weather in Michigan the last couple weeks. Pretty much all of the ice and snow is wiped out. The steelhead are not mad about it at all. Fishing has been great the last 2 weeks with good flow and water color. I still have some openings if you want to get out and beat the spring crowds and have a shot at some big fish!! The rivers are opened back up and the fishing has been outstanding!!! Here is a small sample of some fish from some smaller water. Looks like this mild winter is going to be sticking around for a while so give me a ring and let’s get after some fish!!

Winter is setting in this week it looks like. The fishing has been pretty good most days with some real good days mixed in. Some of the smaller fish have made way for some 10lbs plus adults. I have openings thru spring to get out. Give me a shout and get out and enjoy the river!! Here is a sample of some recent catches.

The king fishing has been outstanding to say the least this year. The big lake produced all summer, and the river systems are loaded up good now. Steelhead are right behind and I have some open days left if you want in on the acrobatics of fall steel. Here are a few pics from recent outings.
